The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is the longer-wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit, and has been described as the most luxurious automobile in the world during its 1981-’98 evolution through four series before being superseded by the introduction of the BMW-powered Silver Seraph also in 1998. POWERTRAINThe 6.75-liter OHV V8 powering the Silver Spur was rated by the manufacturer at 304 horsepower at 3,900 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm when new, with a four-speed automatic transmission.
